reynoldstown neighborhood fundraisers
Throughout the year, we put on the following fundraising events that help to support RCIL's core mission.
REYNOLDSTOWN WHEELBARROW FESTIVAL
The Reynoldstown Wheelbarrow Festival & .5k Race is a festival thrown by the Reynoldstown Civic Improvement League for the community. This event, now over 20 years old, is Reynoldstown’s largest fundraiser and includes music, yard games, food trucks, kids activities, tour of homes, lantern creation station, and will feature Atlanta’s only .5K road race through the historic streets of Reynoldstown.
The event happens to coincide on the same day as The Beltline Lantern Parade. Neighbors have a wonderful time wrapping up the day’s festivities with this illuminating event on The Beltline Eastside Trail. The festival beneficiaries include Lang Carson Park upkeep and beautification projects within the neighborhood, community engagement and stewardship priorities for the Reynoldstown Community, along with outreach projects with Friends of Lang Carson Park.
THANKSGIVING BASKET DRIVE
Since 2006, the Reynoldstown Community has come together to help neighbors in need during the Thanksgiving holiday.
Each year before Thanksgiving, neighbors meet at Lang Carson basketball court for the the assembly & delivery of food baskets to our friends & neighbors. All participation is appreciated and children are invited to partake in crafting cards to include in the boxes.
$25 helps provide a box for 1-2 people, and a $40 donation will help provide a box for a small family.

BINGO NIGHTS
We host Bingo Nights throughout the year to raise funds for RCIL. Not only do you get to have fun playing, but there are several great prizes to win. We will announce the events through our Facebook page and list them under our events page.
