DEAL Hosts Successful Senior Financial + Health Wellness Workshop
We're thrilled to share the success of our recent collaborative effort involving Reynoldstown Dignity and Equitable Action Link (DEAL), RCIL, District 5 Councilmember Liliana Bakhtiari, and Neighbor in Need programs. Together, we hosted a special financial + health-and-wellness workshop tailored for seniors in our community.
Understanding the challenges many face when dealing with inquiries about selling homes or navigating intimidating visits from potential buyers, we recognized the need for expert guidance in aging and estate planning. Our informative workshop aimed to empower residents with knowledge and ensure that they feel a sense of belonging while protecting their legacy. To ensure the workshop reached those who would benefit most, we launched a grassroots effort, enlisting the help of community members like you. By identifying families in Reynoldstown and neighboring communities who could find value in the workshop, we were able to spread the word effectively.
The response was overwhelming, with many attendees joining us to explore crucial topics such as predatory real estate practices and financial matters pertinent to seniors and legacy families. The complimentary hot lunch created a welcoming atmosphere, and attendees were encouraged to bring family members, care partners, or friends.
