Delivering Thanksgiving Meals for the 18th Year: Supporting Our Community Neighbors

On Saturday, Nov. 18, Reynoldstown neighbors came together to assemble and deliver a healthy and hearty Thanksgiving meal for those in need. The baskets contained a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the fixings. The 2023 Thanksgiving Baskets Meal Delivery helped feed more than 80 families this year.

RCIL is grateful for all our volunteers, donors and local businesses that made it possible to have full baskets of food.

A few highlights:

  • Turkeys were purchased in partnership with Publix Atlanta

  • Thank you to Reynoldstown Rangers for baking delicious desserts to put in the baskets (over 1,000 items baked)

  • Coffee and donuts were donated by Empire Development

  • Thank you to GoPuff for providing food items

  • 38 volunteers delivered Thanksgiving Meal baskets

  • 80 families received Thanksgiving baskets

Special thanks to the core team: Nicole Mannino (Thanksgiving Baskets chair), Lindalisa Severo, Christopher Leerssen, Rodney Foster, Mae Stewart, Ben Goldberg, Howard Berzack and Judy Thomas.
